Recognizing the Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Fibromyalgia
Because chronic fatigue fibromyalgia is a relatively unknown
disorder there are many people who may not know the symptoms they are
experiencing are caused by it. The first time most people learn about this
disorder is when they visit their doctor for relief from the symptoms. The
symptoms themselves can start out as minor annoyances that come and go for many
years before a person begins to really notice them. The symptoms are usually
headaches, numbness, body aches and fatigue which most people dismiss as a minor
inconvenience. As the disorder progresses these symptoms will worsen and cause
joint pain, extended periods of fatigue lasting for most of the day and
dizziness. As the disorder gets worse it can force people to miss work and
events and they begin to make more frequent visits to the doctor.
Chronic fatigue fibromyalgia has no cure at this time but for those who suffer
it effects there are numerous ways to reduce the severity if the symptoms.
Living in a warmer location and working a job that does not use too much energy
during the day are two ways to help relieve the symptoms of this disorder. One
of the best ways to get relief from chronic fatigue fibromyalgia is to reduce
stress in ones daily life. Learning how to relax and take it easy is very
important in helping calm the symptoms of this condition because stress has been
shown to actually increase the severity of the symptoms. Another important
factor for relief is eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise.
While chronic fatigue fibromyalgia can strike anyone at any age it seems to
affect women more often then men. This does not mean that men are immune and
should seek a doctors help if they experience any of the symptoms associated
with this disorder. This is particularly true if the symptoms are not associated
with any ongoing illness or the person has just recently gone through a
stressful situation.
The origins of chronic fatigue fibromyalgia are unknown. There are several
theories about why people suffer from this disorder including some in the
medical community who think it is an inherited disease while others point more
towards the stresses of modern life as a cause. For those who believe that
stress is a major factor advocating lifestyle changes is a major form of dealing
with chronic fatigue fibromyalgia.
